The Printer Ink Cartridge Factory

Compatible Vs Original

What is a compatible inkjet cartridge?

A 'compatible' cartridge is a brand new cartridge that has been manufactured by a company other than the printer manufacturer. Internet-ink branded compatible cartridges are guaranteed to perform at least as well as the 'original cartridge' they are intended to replace.

Compatible cartridges also cost a lot less than 'original' cartridges.

What is an original (OEM) cartridge?

An 'original' or 'OEM' cartridge is a cartridge which has been manufactured by the same company that made the printer. i.e. A cartridge manufactured by Epson for an Epson printer.
'Original' cartridges often cost more than 'compatible' or 'remanufactured' cartridges.

What is a remanufactured cartridge?

A 'remanufactured' cartridge is an empty 'original' cartridge. i.e. An empty hp branded cartridge, that has been factory cleaned, refilled to the maximum capacity (up to 4 times the ink*) and tested.

We remanufacture our own cartridges which cost a lot less than 'original' cartridges. *e.g. A C9351A (HP21) 'original' cartridge is filled with 5ml of ink. An Internet-ink C9351A (HP21) 'remanufactured' cartridge is filled with 20ml of ink.

We supply award winning inkjet cartridge 'refill kits', which are designed to easily refill your empty cartridge. Our 'refill kits' contain premium ink specifically suited to the particular cartridge, the necessary tools for refilling, and step by step instructions to easily perform the task.

Does using remanufactured or compatible inkjet and laser cartridges void my warranty?

Major printer manufacturers normally sell printers at or below cost. They make their profits from selling the cartridges. Formerly, once you bought your expensive new printer you had no choice but to buy one of their cartridges after yours ran dry.

By using compatible or remanufactured cartridges you are cutting into their primary source of profit. Because of this, they will threaten to void your warranty if you use compatible or remanufactured cartridges. They are simply trying to protect their own interests anyway they can. It is however strictly ILLEGAL for them to do so, they CANNOT VOID YOUR WARRANTY simply for using compatible or remanufactured cartridges.

There is no reason that you should not use compatible or remanufactured cartridges. They work and will save you money.

We've sold hundreds of thousands of inkjet and laser toner cartridges during our 14 years of trading and have never had an incident where a customer's warranty was "voided" from using our products.

According to Hewlett-Packard, the use of a refilled print cartridge does not affect the warranty unless failure or damage is attributable to it. This is typical of all manufacturers' warranties. Keep in mind that the ink does not touch any part of the printer or internal parts other than the cartridge and print head. The ink is applied to the paper as the paper is fed through the printer.

Why should I buy compatible or remanufactured cartridges?

Why not? The main reason is because it saves you lots of money! Also as a remanufactured cartridge has been recycled it reduces the amount of waste going to landfill.
