The Epson S20 is not a good machine, I have been using the Original Epson Ink and the Printer keeps saying Ink Cartridges not recognised use Epson Ink. Its very temperamental and the Epson Ink which is recommended is very low and doesn't print many pages.
Steer clear of this machine

The Epson S20 is very noisy and rattles like a train. It actually moves on my desk, so it now sits on a pile of A4 paper to keep it still. The Epson ink cartridges are a bit expensive for the S20, but no where as bad as for the Lexmark printer it has replaced. |
This machine is just trashy as far as ink costs are concerned and if i had seen the reviews before I bought, I would have given it a very wide birth.
I get about 7 pages on Black and only a few more of the colours. I suppose I'll have to try some cheaper ink and if this messes up the machine "so be it ".

From The Editor :- Fortunately John our replacement cartridges cannot damage your printer and will not invalidate your warranty. 7 pages sounds like a very low page yield. Did you receive this cartridge with your printer? If you did it was probably an introductory / starter cartridge designed so that you immediately need to buy new cartridges. |
